I Created A Safe Space To Promote Mental Health & Wellness

Safe Space with Shay is a digital platform I created to mitigate the stigma around mental health and wellness amongst people of color, it’s a space created to have open, honest and curious conversations with mental health professionals and amongst each other too, it’s a place to find resources, clarity, community and empowerment.

From the very beginning of this page, Safe Space with Shay, has been a positive impact. Information on real situations and a solution that doesn't seem impossible....There is nothing wrong with therapy and there are many ways of getting that.

Shayla's passion for the topic areas she covers is evident in the clear passion she conveys for this work. Her comfortable demeanor, curiosity, and natural care make it easy to connect with her and her platform of listeners. I am so thankful we have people like Shayla doing this work. It is needed. Shayla, you are creating community and access to valuable information in the mental health community. Thank you!
